Former collegians Reggie Schonborn and Julian Illingworth both advanced to the main draw in the Berkshire Open. Also qualifying are Chris Ryder of England and Amr Swelim of Egypt.

On the women's side, Princeton freshman Neha Kumar qualified while her Canadian compatriot, Trinity standout Lauren Polonich, also qualifies.

And US international team player, Hope Prockop, ousted collegian Toby Eyre.
