After an exciting and explosive tournament, with see-saw matches and upsets in every round of play, the finals were a relatively quiet affair, with the top remaining seed prevailing in both matches.

Australia's Cameron Pilley, who at world #24 is one place above semis upset-victim L J Anjema, made it routine in his finals victor over Hisham Ashour, who had given Anjema fits in the semi finals.

For Pilley, it was his 11th overall PSA title.

Malaysia's top seed Sharon Wee, #22 in the world, likewise subdued #8 seed, the young Indian pro Joshna Chinappa who had ravaged the bottom half of the draw in a series of upsets leading up to the final.

For Chinappa, it was a match too far and Wee collected her seventh WISPA title in straight games.
