Canadians Patrick & Miller QualifyFor Mexican Open

Canadians Katie Patrick and Alana Miller came through the qualifying finals of the Women's Sports World Mexican Open Squash Championship to claim places in the first round of the new WISPA World Tour event in Mexico City backed by the country's largest fitness club chain.

Miller survived a tough battle with compatriot Marnie Baizley to win 9-4 2-9 9-5 9-1, while Patrick beat Colombian Mariana De Reyes in straight games.

Patrick is drawn to face Vanessa Atkinson, the World #3 and Dutch No1 who is seeded to win her third successive WISPA title this year.
