Internationals Prevail

In a Malaysian event in Petalang Jaya today, Malaysian international players subdued local Malaysian competition in setting up some interesting semi finals today.

National squad players Tricia Chuah and Delia Arnold easily advanced to the semis, with the top seeded Tricia surrendering only six points in defeating P. Pushppha Devi 9-6, 9-0, 9-0 and the second seeded Delia easily moved pas Zulhijah Azan 9-3, 9-1, 9-3.

Ken Low had encountered light opposition from Asraf Azan in moving into the semis against Marcus Yeap.

Men (quarter-finals): Kenneth Low bt Asraf Azan 9-0, 9-0, 9-5; Marcus Yeap bt Mohd Shahril Shahidan 10-8, 9-4, 9-2; Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan bt Mohd Nafzahizam Adnan 5-9, 9-4, 10-8, 9-2; Timothy Arnold bt Wong Kim Lee 9-5, 9-4, 5-9, 0-9, 9-5.
