Top seed Natalie Grainger spent only 30 minutes on court as she sailed past English pro VIcky Hynes. At the other end of the draw, Stephanie Brind put an end to Lily Lorentzen's best showing yet in a WISPA event as she showed the young American aspirant a quick exit for the loss of four points.

Meanwhile, Samantha Teran of Mexico, who spent 90 minutes on court in her first round win over Melissa Martin, again spent some 90 minutes on court before coming away with a 10/9, fifth game, 90 minute thrilling win Friday night. Teran trailed two games to love, and trailed 7-3 in the third. At that point she began her fight back. She withstood one matchball against her and put up an incredible comeback battle. Teran forged her comeback with style with great determination.

For her matchup tomorrow against Natalie Grainger she will need all the energy she has since Grainger scored an easy 3-0 victory which lasted a mere 30 minutes against Vicky Hynes.
