Hi Squash Friends! Here is an update on the USA girl's team. We are highly motivated and working very hard.

We are currently in Rhode Island training extremely hard. We are going to be here for 3 weeks. The first week we trained at Talbott's camp, and were part of the camps. After each day we would have our own training session (with the 4 girls) usually consisting of medicine balls, sprints, circuits, and occasionally long distance running.

At the camp, we drilled in the morning, and had about an hour and a half of physical conditioning. Then we would have about a 2 hour lunch break and begin playing in the afternoon. In the afternoon we usually played conditioning games. Our day off is on Sunday.

Now that the camps are over we are training on our own. We are also playing each other to figure out the line up. Today we went for a run, drilled for 2 hours, had lunch, and then went back to training. During that time, we played matches with these two girls, drilled, and had individual lessons with Aidan Harrison. Before this, we had another physical conditioning session.

The next two days are going to be very difficult, especially since we are all extremely exhausted already! I will write you a more detailed schedule later. Sincerely, Michelle Quibell :)
