WISPA Pro-Am Sponsorship Opportunity

Eight squash enthusiasts are being sought by the organisers of the women's prestigious Monte Carlo Classic in Monaco next September to participate in a novel sponsorship opportunity.

The Monaco Squash Rackets Federation, whose Patron is keen squash player Prince Albert, is seeking an entry fee of $2,500 from each of eight benefactors who will not only co-sponsor the established women's Classic, but also have fun in competing themselves in the Monte Carlo Amateur Classic.

Further attractive incentives within the package will be four nights' accommodation in the Championship hotel, including meals with the players; tickets to all the women's matches; an on-court competition with the women professionals; as well as the chance to enjoy the charms of Monaco and the French Riviera.

Women's International Squash Players' Association (WISPA) administrator Heather Hills commented: "There has never been anything like this before - a unique opportunity to take an active part in one of the major events on the WISPA World Tour in one of the world's most exotic locations."

Australia's world champion Sarah Fitz-Gerald is twice winner of the Monte Carlo Classic. Both the women's and amateur classics will run from Wednesday 29 September to Saturday 2 October.
