Eye Group Women's World Open Squash Championship, Edinburgh, Scotland

Tomorrow's (Monday) 3rd round of the Eye Group Women's World Open Squash Championship in Edinburgh, in which the top 24 players in the world join the eight players who survived today's second round at the National Squash Centre at Heriot-Watt University, will include the youngest player ever to compete in the world's premier event. Egypt's 15-year-old Omneya Abdel Kawy twice came from behind to conquer compatriot Eman El Amir 7-9 9-0 9-10 9-3 9-4 in 40 minutes.

The courageous Cairo teenager's cruel reward is a third round match against the event's top seed Leilani Joyce - the world No1 and British Open champion from New Zealand who has won seven WISPA World Tour titles this year and is undefeated since May.

Edinburgh's Senga Macfie became Scotland's only second round survivor when she beat England's Cheryl Beaumont to join compatriot Pamela Nimmo, the 16th seed, in Monday's third round. Macfie meets England's 5th seed Tania Bailey.
