Rebecca Chiu Gets Popular Victory

HONG KONG- Local star Rebecca Chiu lit up the Hong Kong Football Club sunday with some exciting come-from-behind squash to cap a successful weekend for her against European rivals. In the final, Chiu took the first evenly fought game 10-8, but Thacker charged back to take the momentum and a seemingly inevitable 2-1 lead. But Chiu dug dep and came back to win the fourth game 10-8 and then the fifth 9-6.

In the semis, Chiu beat Scotland's Wendy Maitland in four games. The tournament featured a number of exciting five game matches.
