Oct 24, 1999 Seattle: [Check out the Women's World Open Seattle Website] SEATTLE - Cassie Campion won the championship match in the World Women's Squash Open Sunday in straight games, 9-6, 9-7, 9-7, dethroning world number one player Michelle Martin. The final match was an appropriate ending to a whisper-not-a-bang tournament in which all but seven matches were decided in straight games. Only four matches, three in the opening round and Martin's quarterfinal battle with Natalie Grainger, went to five games. Seattle can expect to see more world-class squash if the new champion has anything to do with it. "The best done and friendliest stop on the tour," she told the audience.
