[2] Janie Thacker (ENG) bt [Q] Nicol David (MAS) 9-4 9-3 9-2

England's Janie Thacker ended Malaysian Nicol David's run in her debut WISPA
World Tour event when she beat the 16-year-old world junior champion 9-4 9-3
9-2 in the semi-finals of the Sonderborg Women's Danish Squash Open in
Sonderborg, Denmark.

Thacker, the 22-year-old from Rotherham in Yorkshire who has reached her
first Tour final since winning the Milo Open in Malaysia in April 1998, now
faces Maha Zein, the top seed from Egypt who defeated Australia's Natalie
Grinham 9-6 10-9 7-9 9-5 in the other semi-final.
