Joe Kneipp and John White joined him in the semi finals Sarah Fitz-Gerald continued with her determined comeback program, winning again in the second round, setting up a stiff test tomorrow against the strong Natalie Grainger from South Africa. [read Sarah's comments] PSA, London: Australian qualifiers Byron Davis and Joseph Kneipp continued their march through the $38,000 Greenwich Open Squash Championships in Connecticut, USA - where five seeds, including the Australian favourite Anthony Hill and the second seed from Scotland Martin Heath, were bundled out in the first round. Davis, 26, from Adelaide, upset compatriot Paul Price, the fifth seed, 15-12 10-15 15-3 15-13 in the quarter-finals, and goes on to meet England's 7th seed Del Harris, the 30-year-old from Colchester in Essex, who beat Heath's first round victor Amjad Khan, from Pakistan, 15-7 15-9 13-15 15-7. In the top half of the men's draw, former Australian John White, the 26-year-old now representing Scotland and based in The Hague in the Netherlands, fought back from two games down to overcame Anthony Hill's conqueror Omar Elborolossy, from Egypt, 12-15 5-15 15-6 15-11 15-10. White, the fourth seed, now faces former Queensland colleague Joseph Kneipp who defeated Egypt's Amr Shabana 12-15 15-9 15-9 15-11. Australia's interest in the women's event is being led exclusively by Melbourne's Sarah Fitz-Gerald, the three-times former world champion making her comeback after injury. Despite winning last week's Glidden Open, she was again forced to fight through the qualifying competition - and beat England's Vicky Botwright 9-5 9-3 9-4 to set up a semi-final against top seed Natalie Grainger, the world No. 4 from England who overcame Egypt's Salma Shabana 9-5 9-0 9-1.
