DOUBLE ENGLISH TRIUMPH FOR GENEVER & TRANFIELD IN FINNISH OPEN By Howard Harding - Peter Genever and Jenny Tranfield recorded a notable English double in the final international event of the squash year by claiming the Ajanpaino Finnish Open titles in Helsinki. Fifth seed Peter Genever, the 27-year-old world No32 from Chichester in Sussex, recorded only his second ever PSA Tour title when he beat second seeded Australian John Williams - in his second final in ten days - 15/13 15/9 6/15 15/7 in the men's final.

Nottingham-based 25-year-old Jenny Tranfield, originally from Yorkshire and now in the final year of a PhD in Sports Psychology, defeated second seeded Egyptian Salma Shabana 10/9 9/1 9/5 in the women's final.
