State "B" finals: Scott Hartz poaches one from his partner, Tom McCarthy. Opponents Scott Beebe and Steve Largent look on. Beebe and Largent won:(13), 9, (10), 11, 5 State "A" finals: John Nimick, PSA President, really poaches one from his partner, Lenny Bernheimer. Watching in the background is Jamie Fagan who with partner, Doug Lifford, eventually won: (12), 13, (14-18), 7, 3, reversing the 1998 result.
State Mixed finals: Doug Lifford goes high in the air to volley with Sandy Tierney awaiting the shot. Sandy and Jessie Chai eventually won over Doug and Annette Andruss, (10), 9, 14, (13-18), 11, defending their title. State Mixed finals: Sandy stretches out, heeding the exhortations of his partner.
State "50" finals: Lenny Bernheimer makes an off balance shot with opponent Peter Gordon amazed. Len and Tom Poor won over Peter and Chipp Adams, 11, 17-14, (8), (14), 7. State "B" finals: Steve Largent lunges for a low one as Scoot Hartz prepares to respond.
State "50" finals: Chipp Adams, 1999 National "50" hardball champion, takes aim against Tom Poor. State "B" finals: Tom McCarthy wrong foots a forehand return.
State Mixed finals: Jessie Chai is ready with Annette Andruss waiting in the battle of the women on the forehand side. State "50" finals: Peter Gordon also wrong foots a forehand in front of Lenny Bernheimer. Do all forehand players wrong foot their strokes?
State "B" finals: Fortunately, Scott Beebe has done a lot of stretching before the match which has saved his hamstrings on this low one. State Mixed finals: So has Doug Lifford who reaches across to cut one off for his partner.
State "A" finals: Jamie Fagan lunges for a short one in front of Lenny Bernheimer. Tom Poor, highly ranked doubles player, back in action after surgery and long rehab...
