On hot courts on a hot day at Squash Almere, Dutch 23-year old professional Magriet Huisman followed up a strong trip to Malaysia, in which she was three times semi finalist over a two week period there, by winning today's Herubo Cup WISPA tournament.

To win, Huisman went back on court three hours after defeating Orla Noom in 74 minutes in the semi final, and upset her higher ranking opponent, Aisling Blake.

Blake and Huisman, who both play with a similar counterpunching style of play, battled for over an hour.

Huisman won by scores of 9-3, 7 and 2 but it was a deceptively closely contested contest, with those three games lasting for over an hour.

Aisling Blake next heads to Los Angeles for the new Los Angeles WISPA event on June 20th, while Margriet Huisman heads to Royan, France for the European Individual Championships June 13th.
