[DRAW/RESULTS]

Today the famously fit met the shot maker in the final of the WISPA Greenwich Open, and fitness won the day.

New Zealand's Shelley Kitchen defeated Engalnd's Alison Waters to complete what has been a remarkable tournament for both. Throughout the tournament Waters wowed with risky shots and Kitchen impressed by running and retrieving when she was not able to PUT away a point quickly. Waters hung with Kitchen thoughout the match and actually had appeared to have things in control early on.

"Shelley was fast and continuously keeping up the pressure and pace," observerd Chris Walker. "Alison was trying to match her, but in the end she got tired. If Alison would have won the second, she would have had the energy to last. It was a good, clean match and both were really going for it."

So the Kiwi adds another title to a quickly growing list, and both outdo their seeding as they head Rye, NY for the Apawamis Open and another chance at another big title.
