The largest-ever crowd to watch squash at Stanford (and probably in California) gathered this weekend to watch the East-West coast rivalry of Harvard and Stanford meet on the courts in Palo Alto.

For the occasion, the famous (or infamous) crazy Stanford band and Stanford Dollies came out for squash. After a gala performance, in which they played and danced for 15 minutes, in full regalia, amazing the Harvard players and regaling the crowd, before introductions of the teams and the serious business of a squash match.

As you can see from the pictures, they are pretty wacky and it was loud and humorous seeing them on the glass court. They were also over 250 people who came to the match which was the largest crowd Stanford have ever had for a match. Harvard crushed both Stanford squash squads but acording to Stanford coach Mark Talbott "I think Stanford won the match!"
