Yale - Rochester Semi Provides Main Excitement

Trinty College, to noone's surprise, continued their iron grip on the National Championships, a grip they have held firmly now for a decade, and extended their unprecedented and unequalled unbeaten streak, extending across eleven regular seasons and post season championships.

Their oppponent in Sunday's final was a resurgent Yale team, who showed that their #2 National ranking which they have held since defeating University of Rochester and Princeton in the regular season, was completely warranted.

Playing at home, Yale provided much of the weekend's excitement with a close and thrilling 5-4 win over Rochester in the semi-finals, which put them into the National final against Trinity and sent Rochester into a consolation meeting with Princeton. Princeton defeated Rochester, overturning their regular season result, to finish third.

The University of Pennsylvania won the "B" division title.
