PROFILE: JULIAN ILLINGWORTH, SQUASH PRO

Julian Illingworth is a professional squash player from Portland, Oregon.  A hree- time US national champion at the age of 23, he is the youngest player ever to win three national titles, and the only player to win two titles while in college. 

Julian has reached a PSA high ranking of 55 in August 2007. 

In a distinguished junior career, Julian was US Junior National Champion in the U/16 age group, U/17 age group, and twice captured the U/19 US title.  Julian competed at two Junior World Team Championships.  He was the first US male player to reach the round of 16 in a Junior World Individual Championships, and captained the US team to an all-time best 7th position in the 2002 championships. 

Julian was a 4 time first team All-Ivy selection, and 4 time first team All-American selection while attending Yale University from 2002-2006.  In his senior year Julian captained his Yale team to their first Ivy title in 16 years. 

Julian has represented the US senior national team in several competitions, including 2 Pan-Am Federation Cups, and one World Men’s Team Championships.
