Positions:
Head Coach, Girls and Boys Varsity Squash (winter season)
Assistant Coach, Girls and Boys Varsity Squash (winter season)
Physical Education Instructor, Beginning Squash (fall and spring seasons)
Concord Academy seeks dedicated teacher/coaches interested in working
with student-athletes at an academically rigorous secondary boarding
and day school. Practices are held on weekday afternoons (3:15-4:45 and
4:45-6:15), and competitions take place on Wednesday, Friday and some
Saturday afternoons. The winter season runs mid November to early March
(with school breaks at Thanksgiving and Christmas).
Physical Education classes are held from 3:15-4:15 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays
and Fridays in the fall and spring seasons. Fall season runs Sept. 11-Nov.
2; spring season runs March 25-May 16.
Positions are part-time seasonal positions. Ideally one person will serve
as both the Head Coach and the Physical Education Instructor, while another
candidate will serve as the Assistant Coach during the winter season.
Qualifications for these positions include: past playing and/or coaching
experience, and the ability to effectively communicate with secondary
school aged-students. Benefits include: a competitive coaching stipend,
fitness center privileges, and meals in the dining hall; on-campus housing,
though extremely limited, may be a possibility for the appropriate candidate.
