Southampton Youth Services, Inc., located in Southampton, New York, is seeking a Director of Squash.  This position will be responsible for managing and directing a rapidly growing squash program in one of the most attractive year-round communities in the United States. Candidates should have a track record of experience in developing junior and adult squash programs.  A history of excellence as a player is preferable, but not necessary.  The successful candidate must be able to communicate a love for the game, and possess the teaching skills necessary to develop every level of play for men and women, adults and juniors.

The SYS Squash Director will be responsible for all aspects of the Squash Program’s development including:

• Teaching clinics, private and group lessons
• Game arranging and scheduling
• Managing tournaments
• Increasing participation at all levels
• Arranging and promoting professional exhibitions
• Developing teams for juniors, women, and men
• Developing challenge ladders
• Recruiting, hiring, and managing Assistant pros, as necessary
• Coordinating and promoting of Summer Camp programs
• Maintaining a full service pro shop

Compensation package includes competitive salary plus commissions from pro shop sales and lessons.
