Prince Squash Position Available

The Lawrenceville School Coach/Squash Director Profile:

The Lawrenceville School is looking for a professional squash coach to coach two teams at their new squash facility. With ten air-conditioned glass backed courts, an office, seating area, and multiple benches for viewing, Lawrenceville’s courts are the premier facility between Philadelphia and New Haven, CT. This coach would need to have experience with high school age players and understand the culture of a boarding school environment where academics come first. Team practices (3:30-5:00 & 5:00-6:30) are held one week in November, two weeks in December and throughout January and February: 10 – 11 weeks.  Practices and matches are every weekday and on Saturdays as well.

The opportunities for this position include access to the Lawrenceville courts for: lessons, tournaments, clinics, camps, a pro shop and the potential for the establishment of a community squash program/club. There is great demand for lessons from students at Lawrenceville who have no other way to find professional coaching due to transportation issues. A variety of squash pros have traveled to Lawrenceville on weekday evenings in response to this demand.
