CONTACT ME OR ASK QUESTIONS: madeline@madelineperry.com QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (last updated 31-jan-07 ): From Nicola Spurgeon: What's your training/fitness regime? My answer: I follow a strength and conditioning program set for me by the Institute of Sport in Northern Ireland. I have to do weights, aerobic gym work on the bike and X trainer, core stability as well as all my squash training so its tough fitting it all in! From Frederica Purkiss: How did you get on with Cassie
Jackman? And how big a loss is she My answer: I only played Cassie a couple of times but always lost 3-0; and then she retired a couple of seasons ago. She was a really great player, when she was moving well. She was also a really good player to watch as she played such flowing squash. So she is obviously a big loss to British squash. From Isaiah McKinstry: What
sort of music do you like to listen to? Yours, I Mckinstry. My answer: I enjoy listening to easy going chill out music, especially Elton John and James Blunt at the moment. It good to relax to during tournaments. Glad you enjoyed the radio 4 interview, it was a bit different to my usual interviews but was really good fun. From Nicky in the UK: Who is the greatest female squash player of all time? And who is the greatest today? My answer: Its so hard to choose between players from different eras but Sarah Fitz-Gerald was dominating when I turned pro. I think she must be one of the greatest because she lost so few matches over a long period. Today the greatest player is either Vanessa Atkinson or Nicol David, its impossible to choose between them. From Joanna Brewer: Do you enjoy reading?Who are your favourite authors? My answer: I don't really read novels,
I usually read books about sportspeople or recently I have read a
few books telling stories of mountaineering on Mount Everest and
also the French Alps. --------- CONTACT ME OR ASK QUESTIONS: madeline@madelineperry.com
