Womens World Draw           Second day's Report - Espeth Burnside

My match today with Vanessa Atkinson looked to present a good challenge. I view Vanessa as one of the most talented players on tour, and fully able to challenge any of us fitness and skills-wise.

My match with Vanessa started fast and furious and was very tight from the start up until 4-4. At that juncture, I broke away after a few tough rallies and Vanessa never really got into the remainder of the match.

Her long battle with Ellen Peterson paid the price as her legs seemed to give way quickly and made easy errors.

I look forward to my next contest with Suzanne Horner tomorrow.
