	Campion Wilts Before Joyce Pressure by Sarah Fitz-Gerald, Oct 7 2001 Special to SquashTalk, © 2001 Leilani Joyce bt Cassie Campion 9-4 9-6 9-4 (47 minutes) Sarah Fitz-Gerald bt Stephanie Brind 9-2 9-0 9-3 (21 minutes) Cassie played a much improved game from her last encounter against Leilani. She seemed on the verge of a breakthrough, but one could the pressure placed on her by Leilani at crucial times --- which force the critical errors from Cassie at vital times. Cassie was just unable to withstand the pace Leilani maintained and the constant retrieval of Cassie's best shots left her impatient at the end. In my match Stephanie didn't handle the pace and barrage of volleys and drives which opened up the court for me. Stephanie is possibly disappointed with her effort but I believe I was highly focused and I was able to establish my momentum early which restricted her finding her feet. The final will be another matchup between Leilani and myself which both of us are looking forward too. This match has allot riding on it, with the World Open coming up next week plus I recently took over the No 1 ranking from Leilani, which I am sure she wants to take back from me and I wish to retain.
