RANKING CRITERIA- Rankings are
based upon PSA rankings up to #100 where player is accredited with 10pts
for each decile of ranking, ie 1-10 gets 100 pts. After 100 rankings are
based exclusively on PSA/NA Challengers and points are accorded as follows:
Tournaments valued at $500-$2500 players receive 10-winner,8 runner-up,
6 semis, 4 1/4's, 2 for round of 16. For tourneys at $2500-$5K it goes
15,12,9,6 and 3. Please note that these events are open to everyone but
only PSA members receive points.
Rankings for this period have been derived from the 7 PSA Challengers: Calgary Open, Klean-Rite/Grand Prairie, Saskatchewan Open, Florida State Open, Western Canadian Champs, Hartford C.C. Challenger and the Gourmet Butcher/Calgary. A divisor of two was used to get the final ranking points. For the winter rankings and final rankings in August a divisor of four will be used.
