Lucky Odeh Comes from behind to top Mark Lewis at T&R

Sept 5 2003, Boston MA

T&R resident pro Lucky Odeh gained a coveted spot in the US Open qualifier by defeating the cross-town Union Boat Club pro 3-2 at his home club Thursday evening.

Odeh dropped the first two games but gained the upper hand over the increasingly tiring Mark Lewis, taking the final three games. Odeh now enters the qualifier of 16 which begins Sept 11th at Boston Racquet Club in Boston's Financial District.

Lucky Odeh (1) (T&R) Mark Lewis (2) (UBC) 10-15, 6-15, 15-10, 15-4, 15-6

Wednesday Sept 3rd - semi final results
Lucky Odeh (1) (T&R) def Briggs Johnson (Harvard Club )(3/4) 15-9, 15-10, 15-12
Mark Lewis (2) (UBC) def Jason Hicks (3/4) (U Club) 12-15, 15-13, 15-11, 15-10
