Fitz-Gerald Consolidates World

Australia’s Sarah Fitz-Gerald, who
will be out of action throughout March while recovering from a calf injury,
retains her lead at the top of the new March Women’s World Squash Rankings,
announced today (28th February) by the Women’s International Squash Players’
Association (WISPA).

In a relatively unchanged list, New
Zealanders Leilani Joyce and Carol Owens remain at 2 and 3, respectively,
while England’s Cassie Campion stays at No4. Campion’s compatriots Fiona
Geaves and Linda Charman-Smith swap places, Geaves rising to No5 while
Charman-Smith drops to 6. Scotland’s Pamela Nimmo returns to the world
top twenty at 20.
